Some of our employees have experience in cable installation, Electrical, HVAC, home building, masonry, etc. If you’re willing to train on the job, or you’re excited to go to school, we will help you out. We want to be the best lawn and landscape company in the area, which requires great people on our team. Of course we employ landscape designers, grads with landscape degrees, and fine people with industry experience.
If you have potential for greatness, we’ll help train and educate you for advancement in your career. Unlike golf course maintenance positions, it doesn’t have to take 7-8 years to advance. Preparing for your interview
DRESS
Consider the position for which you are applying. A suit and tie would be out of place for a position in the field. On the other hand, you wouldn’t be able to work in athletic shorts and sandals. A clean shirt and pants will put your best foot forward and show us you are presentable to our clients.
At Backyard Kreations, we dress to impress our customer. Our uniform makes us recognizable, and we provide them for you so you look professional and fresh. With this in mind, choose attire that makes you look professional and fresh for your interview.
INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
Please relax and be yourself. We want to get to know you. Do your best to stick to the topic at hand. If interviews make you nervous, or you feel inexperienced, the S.T.A.R Interview Technique is a great tool to get familiar with. We don’t ask every question in the S.T.A.R. style (some employers do) but it’s a great way to organize your thoughts and describe your experience.
